I have a 3 year old male walker; He hunts hard but when he trees he does not stay at the tree. Any ideas how to make him stay?

get to the tree faster and shoot the coon out to show him that wat he wants is up there and start taking longer and longer to get to the tree

get to the tree before he leaves give him a treat and praise him more than normal to show him you are pleased they love pleasing there owners and run the dog with more expierenced dogs more often
