I have 2 danes and a 2 year old son. The are his best friends other then his 7 year old sister. Because of their large size, Danes may nock over a very small child. Always supervise children around any dog. Great danes love children! i have an 11 year old great dane and my 5 year old cousin will come over and she is fine...the licking is a habit of hers but my cousin love his(big puppy).and she loves him |
