We have a 6 month old harlequin male and thinking of either studding him or getting a female and breed them. At what age is is safe for either male or female to start breeding and how often should we allow it to happen?

If you would like to get into breedig Danes first you should have them tested. You wouldn't want to pass on defective genes to puppies. Do lots of research. Danes do not stop growing until at least 2 years of age. No breeding before the age of 2 years. Responsible breeders are deticated to improving the breed.
