The Chug favors the features of the Pug. It often resembles a miniature boxer with a chunky and muscular face. The muzzle is not as flat as a purebred Pug.
Chugs have a friendly nature and are good with children. They require lots of attention from their owners and do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. They are lively and playful. It is recommended this breed is socialized with children and other animals from birth to rear a well balanced dog.

I have had this little girl snice she was a newborn i have her mom Lillie the Pug Her dad is the Chihuahua. Maggie got the pug looks from her mom but her pint size and attutude from her dadofcourse with the pug stuborrness from her mom. she isa little over 9 pnds and thinks she is a 90 pnd big dog. I love this babygirl with all my heart.shes for sure the baby of the family that has brought alot of happiness I can't imagine life without her. this is her little monkey and blankie that her gma gave her :)

Boger is about 17in long, short legs bout 4in, she has a major under-bite (she sticks em out when smiling ), curled tail, bow legged, big bug eyes, and snores loudly. Boger is extremley sweet, loves attention, majorly active loves running and playing, has the big dog in a little body attitude, extremley protective of all of us and her yard, stands her ground with our 2 other dogs (great dane/ pitt bull mix & walker coonhound), very smart as well as stabborn, would rather be outside with our other 2 dogs, and tolerant of our very playfull cat. Boger is a joy and a big part of our family! :)
