The Shih-Mo is a small to medium sized dog. The ears and color normally resemble the Shih Tzu. It has the long legs and nose of the American Eskimo. The tail curves over the hind quarters.
Shih-mo's are wonderful family pets. Very loyal and occasionally territorial of owner. They can become overly attached to their owner. Shih-mo seems to be very calm majority of the time, yet will runs his/her heart out when the opportunity arises. They seem to play and get along well with everyone they meet. They tend to love to shred any bits of paper they can find, so keep your trashcan guarded. These dogs are very intelligent. They are eager and quick to learn anything you will teach them.

My little Benji Bear is a wonderful loving puppy. He will roll over on his back and let anyone rub his belly. He is VERY friendly and loving. He is a little protective over me when someone first comes to the house but after sniffing them he warms right up to them. He is a wonderful puppy that loves to snuggle.
