Frengles tend to have the stature of a French Bulldog with a Beagle shaped head. The nose is slightly shorter and more square than a beagle, but the Frengle has the Beagle ears. They often have brindle coloring with white markings. They may have a docked tail like a bulldog or a long tail like a beagle, depending on the breeder's choice.
Frengles are friendly and eager to please. As puppies they are clingy but tend to loosen up as they age. It's a good idea to start socializing them with humans and other dogs from birth. Having another dog in the house will greatly help their development.
Frengles need daily walks and mental stimulation. This breed excels at dog agility training. They enjoy having a job to do. Under stimulation may result in anxious, destructive behavior.

BOLO is a frengle with an easy going personality. He loves to explore new things and he loves to learn. He's been very easy to train so far. We are hoping to get into agility training. I think he'd love it!
